Personal Training Philosophy

Monica Elliott Personal Training Philosophy, VictoriaMonica’s Training Philosophy:

1) Client Motivation

A healthy lifestyle is about more than just exercise; it’s about setting your mind to do something and feeling that sense of accomplishment when you finally achieve it. I will strive to educate, motivate, and inspire you into looking good and feeling well while making your personal training workouts challenging, diverse, and fun! Together, we will replace bad habits with good ones. I will help you to set short and long-term goals and reach them. Ultimately, I hope to show people just how much they can achieve!

“Confidence, accomplishment, feeling better, having less discomfort or pain, weight management and better check ups are all contributing factors to staying motivated!”

2) Unique Fitness Programs

Everyone has different tastes when it comes to enjoyment in fitness activities. I believe being a personal trainer is more than simply dictating workouts within a given perspective; a personal trainer must constantly be able to adapt training styles and
techniques to help their clients achieve their goals. I will strive to teach you the concepts of fitness and a healthy lifestyle in a fun way by tailoring your fitness routines to meet your personal goals. In addition to this, I will help my personal training clients; especially those with busy schedules, maximize their workout time, and help them to bring those habits into their daily lives.

“I believe a person’s fitness program is an integral part in developing a healthy and happy lifestyle.”

3) Communication

I encourage you to communicate with me as much as possible, from how you feel the day after your personal training workout to the parts of your
program that you enjoy or dislike the most; your thoughts and feelings are essential in order for me to help you stay motivated and keep your personal training sessions interesting. The more communication we have, the more effective, customized, and enjoyable your personal training experience will be.

4) Increased Accountability

How easy is it to not go to the gym? Exercise plans often fail because of a lack of accountability. There may be times when you would rather relax or when you feel like you have too much to do. It is easy to skip the gym or a class if you don’t have an appointment. This will be a HUGE factor in your success. You will have more consistency in your workouts and therefore better results by having a personal trainer come to you. Even if you don’t feel like working out, I will be there to give you the motivation and the determination to complete your session and you’ll be glad you did!
