Monica's Credentials (Personal Training Victoria)Education is very important to me!  I am continuously increasing my knowledge in order to deliver the safest and most efficient workout to my participants and personal training clients.  I do this by taking additional courses and regularly attending fitness conferences, including the World Fitness conference in the U.S. where I am trained by the most elite professionals in my field.

Fitness Specializations

  • National Academy of Sports Medicine Corrective Exercise Specialist: The ability to identify and address faulty physical movements and muscle imbalances, so that you can move better! For example, you might notice that when you walk, you may have one foot that turns out and it doesn’t match the other or you might have a rounded upper back that is starting to make you feel like you are hunched over. By doing corrective exercises, you can rebalance the body, so that all of your muscles are functioning properly.

 

  • Trigger Point Myofascial Compression Specialist: The ability to improve mobility, increase the body’s range of motion, and enhance your overall movement using various tools, so that you can move better! For example, your bad balance might be due to a tight foot or a tight calf that is working improperly. Once we work on those muscles, the results will be noticed immediately!

  • 4 days of back to back sessions taught by the world’s most knowledgable instructors in their respective fields. Topics include aging, nutrition, injuries, and personal training.
